Blue shells are just awful. Awful, awful, awful. Imagine you’re winning a race, in first place with nary a care in the world. You then hear a buzzing. This buzzing becomes louder despite your attempts to go faster. In Mario Kart, this is the blue shell and it always targets the player in first place. It’s annoying, irritating and just plain stupid all things considered. Sure, it might not be the dumbest way to die but it’s up there.
