Earthworm Jim was one of the funniest games I played when I was kid, it never took itself seriously and that was the best part of it. After defeating bosses like the evil Psy-Crow and others, Jim finally rescues the princess. The best part of this comes when a cow just drops on the princess, possibly killing her and it tells you that the important plot point of the game was not very important after all.
