The N64 Rumble pack was supposed to cause the controller to vibrate in select situations. Unfortunately, the bulky battery made the controller unbalanced and even more awkward to hold because now there was more weight on the back pulling the damn thing down. The gaming experience was more of a chore, and gamers eventually got fed up as it didn’t have any redeeming qualities.
