There have been a few anti-war games we’ve seen in recent years, but they’re mostly crowded out by the more mainstream war games on the other end of the spectrum. Bandai Namco have now released a story trailer for their own game of the former kind that’s all for peace, and it’s called 11-11: Memories Retold. The new story trailer introduces us to two key characters in the game fighting for different sides in the war.
Fighting for the German side is Kurt, who is played by actor Sebastian Koch, who only joins the war to find his son, and not for the fighting. The other character is a Canadian soldier called Harry, who is a photographer played by Elijah Wood, and who reminds Kurt of his own son. We also get to see a character called Barret, who is played by actor Colin Mace, who promises to protect his soldiers if they listen to him and threatens to kill them if they do otherwise. It should be interesting to see how all of these characters are connected to one another.
You can check out the story trailer along with some screenshots below. 11-11: Memories Retold is set to release for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 9.
