This is a sentiment that many eager and impatient people can easily relate to, especially for people who expect that they may never be able to play the games themselves. Think about older games, for example, ones that you don’t expect you’ll be able to play, or games that are so rare or expensive that you expect they’ll be hard to come by. Games that many never show up for download on a console’s electronic shop I can particularly relate in how I have spoiled the plots of horror games for myself, including the first Fatal Frame and many more. Some games are incredibly niche and hard to find, even if they were localized. So, there is a temptation we can resist to check their endings.
