Reading The Ending On A Forum And Then Debating It Without Actually Playing It

Being able to read the ending of a game on a forum and then debate it without playing the game enables people to engage game content despite not having played the game. A personal example includes the Ace Attorney series, a franchise that is built on solving mysteries and the initially unclear nature of character motivations and actions – which require game progression to understand fully. Since Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Miles Edgeworth was not localized, reading spoilers allows people to talk about whether or not the game has engaging villains or whether or not case developments had great twists and turns.
