Ground Zero
A meteor has devastated South Korea, leaving a post-apocalyptic metropolis rife with terrifying mutilations corrupted by interstellar fallout. Together with her Canadian partner, elite Korean operative Seo-Yeon – an expert soldier skilled in a range of firearm and martial combat – is sent in to investigate. Mystery unravels as monsters reveal themselves with the truth behind strange growths unravelling from the meteor’s impact discoverable alongside a host of secrets and multiple endings. Fixed camera angles, tank controls, inventory management, pre-rendered backgrounds – they’re all here to evoke a retro survival horror aesthetic too. Development is chugging along nicely at Malformation Games, but there’s no release window announced just yet, only a Steam page where you can keep in loop by wishlisting this game.
