ELDEST SOULS
With a name like Eldest Souls, it’s clear what this game is taking cues from, but there’s actually a lot going on here that might just set it apart from the crowd. There’s its beautiful pixel art, for starters, while the combat is simple yet engaging, and looks oh-so-crunchy. Then there’s the fact that this is purely a boss rush game, and the prospect of a Soulslike title that cuts out all the fat and goes with the “all killer, no filler” philosophy is a very intriguing one.
