Tomba!
You’ll know this next entry by a different name depending on where you are in the world. Tomba! or Tombi! was created for the PlayStation as a side-scrolling platformer. It followed the namesake character, as he tries to get his grandfather’s bracelet and a large sum of gold back from a group of evil pigs. The player’s tasked to complete a number of missions, not all are needed to advance, but all are needed to fully win the game. It was hit with positive reviews for its graphics, however, it did not sell as well as it should have. Sadly, we all probably know this game will never see the light of day again, as the developers went out of business in 2000. But, we can dream that we’ll one day be able to play as this lovely, wild pink-haired youngster once more.
