Radical Entertainment’s Prototype puts players into the shoes of Alex Mercer as he embarks on a quest to recover his memories of the past while also trying to understand the mystery behind the Blacklight plague that’s ravaging throughout the city. Mercer can climb along walls, glide through buildings, and consume enemies as he takes on increasingly dangerous missions. It’s a wonderful power fantasy that remains a blast right up until the end.
