WOW player commits suicide in order to transcend the game
World of Warcraft was the biggest MMO in the world for many years, and some players got lost in the virtual world of Azeroth. Xaio Yi was a 13-year old player who began to think that if he died he would be united with his online guild members. Before committing suicide he left behind four notes, each written from the perspective of one of his four in-game characters. He then jumped from a 24-story building, plummeting to his death.
