The creators of Bloodstorm were quite confident about what they were working on, very blatantly calling it a Mortal Kombat killer. But it didn’t do that, of course. It ended up being little more than an uninspired ripoff of a much better game, and it didn’t even turn out to be a very good ripoff, because it just wasn’t a lot of fun to play.
