Well, this one is sort of an obvious pick. Simply by virtue of being a late game Monster Hunter fight, Monster Hunter Rise’s Apex Rathalos ensures that it has a place in this list. On top of all the reasons that series fans would expect though, Apex Rathalos is a complicated fight in other ways as well. It has a massive pool of health, for starters, but much more dangerous are its attacks, all of which are extraordinarily aggressive and deadly, and many of which can do damage over large chunks of area. Plus, of course, it runs across the entire map, which can prolong things even more.
