Reaper Human Larva – Mass Effect 2
Mass Effect introduced us to an incredible world, full of fascinating creatures, alien worlds and memorable characters. Amongst all of this were the reapers. These massive, sentient robots were quickly established as the series main antagonist, hell bent on destroying the galaxy. For the majority of Mass Effect 2, Shepard is trying to stop the collectors, a strange insect-like race, but during your final confrontation with the mysterious beings the curtains are finally pulled back.
They are building a humanoid reaper and Shepard and his crew must quickly put it down. It’s a cool idea, but the design of the boss is lackluster and the battle itself is one of attrition. The Boss is a bullet sponge, taking round after round before finally collapsing. A lackluster finale to this incredible sci-fi title.
