FTL: Faster Than Light
FTL: Faster Than Light is all about commandeering a spaceship through battles of increasing intensity. The gameplay is entirely driven by strategy, and you must make thoughtful decisions at every turn if you wish to make it out alive. FTL is also a brutal game with rogue-lite elements and permadeath, so one wrong move could easily result in the loss of hours’ worth of progress. But the core gameplay is pretty engaging once you get the hang of it, and that forces you to go for another run when all hope seems lost.
