Everspace 2
Everspace 2 takes what worked in the original, and builds upon those foundations in new and interesting ways. You will once again be assuming the role of a spaceship commander, and the story revolves around trying to survive against enemy factions and hostile aliens. You are free to choose different upgrade paths for your spaceship and your crewmates, which can come together to create markedly different builds. Add to that a curated open-world space filled with puzzles and secrets, and Everspace 2 becomes more than a worthy sequel to the original.
