7. SteamOS
Valve has been working their rumps off for making the gaming experience on the PC platform heavenly and they have been largely successful in their endeavours till date. Now they had taken it upon their shoulders to make the Linux platform a mainstream gaming OS by means of Steam OS.
They have been working on it for quite some time and have even come up with the beta versions of the OS. Nonetheless, even with such remarkable a progress, it is unlikely that Valve would reveal its final OS at this E3.
