Killzone 2
Killzone 2 delivers an action-packed campaign which perfectly encapsulates the intensity and chaos of war. Every step on the battlefield is wrought with hellfire, bodies obliterated on all sides, confusion, tension, bullets shredding the air. Guerrilla Games delivered a technical powerhouse too; Killzone 2 is easily one of the best-looking games on the PS3, and graphically holds up to this day. Throughout Killzone 2’s tale of revenge, whereby ISA forces invade the Helghast’s world, we’re reminded of the cost of war; this is a narrative much more nuanced than other shooters.
