Sony Santa Monica took what worked with Chains of Olympus and reiterated that with 2010’s Ghost of Sparta. And while that resulted in a largely familiar experience, it wasn’t a bad one by any means. Kratos’ story of uncovering what happened to his brother Deimos is one that’s worth seeing through to the end, and that journey is punctuated by plenty of breathtaking set-pieces and memorable moments. Ghost of Sparta also flaunts some impressive visuals for its time, and there’s little doubt that the game pushes the PSP’s hardware to its absolute limit.
