Anya’s Grave – Gears of War 4
Perhaps one of the more interesting moments in Gears of War 4 is JD Fenix veering off the main mission path on the family estate to visit his mother’s grave. We’re not told up to that point about what happened to Anya but this quiet moment of introspection and sadness tells us what she meant. In a way, it’s a respectful send-off of sorts to one of the series’ key characters.
