THE FOREST
The Forest can be a properly terrifying experience. It’s not a horror game per se, but you’ll find yourself in a strange, lonely forest (as the name suggests), tasked with ensuring your survival in the environment you find yourself in. But the true enemies in The Forest aren’t things such as hunger and thirst and disease- it’s the cannibalistic inhabitants of the island you find yourself in, who’re some of the scariest and most unpredictable foes you’ll ever see in a video game.
