Life is Feudal one of the oldest games mentioned in this feature, and as such, its survival mechanics are more along the lines of what you’d expect- managing hunger, fighting against other players, fighting against wildlife, and building and expanding your own structures to facilitate survival that much better. But don’t let the lack of a gimmick fool you into thinking that this is an easy game- Life is Feudal’s many interlocking mechanics can create the sort of challenge that can and will make you sweat.
