Ultimate Monkey Kombat – Escape From Monkey Island

In classic Lucasfilms fashion, the final confrontation of the point and click classic “Escape from Money Island” involves a dual of words and insults, known in game by the irreverent term “Monkey Kombat”. While you engage in the ultimate witty repartee several times throughout the game, the final showdown against LeChuck will seem utterly endless until you happen to be told the trick. Instead of dominating your enemy, you out of nowhere have to match him several times instead. There are lore reasons for the boneheaded design decision, but hey, those games were well known for arbitrarily bringing up their playtime.
