Fortune – Metal Gear Solid 2

We discuss Metal Gear Solid, and the second entry in particular quite a lot on our lists. But that has a lot to do with just how successfully the games deconstruct the standard tropes. The Ultimate Luck of Helena Dolph Jackson, also known as Fortune of Dead Cell is her greatest asset and curse. This apparent “luck” forces shots to curve right around her, and prevents Raiden from landing even a single shot during his first encounter with the rail gun toting Fortune. Luckily you only need survive for a bit until circumstances change and you can move on.
