A new year is something to celebrate, especially for early access titles, and Pocketpair’s Palworld is no exception. After becoming one of the best selling titles on Steam last year and dropping the massive Feybreak update, fans are doubtless curious about what’s next.
Thankfully, a new roadmap is now available. Features like cross-play for co-op, transferring Pals across worlds, and collaborations with other IPs like Terraria have been reaffirmed. Gameplay-wise, players can look forward to new Pals and technologies, “further ways” for Pals to become stronger, and the World Tree/Ending Scenario. The latter could potentially be the game’s 1.0 release.
Pocketpair also seeks to improve optimization, UX, and world object placement on top of the base Pals. There are no dates for these or other features, so stay tuned in the coming months.
Palworld is available for PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It sold over 15 million copies and accrued over 25 million players almost a month after early access launched.
