COMMANDANT STEELE (BORDERLANDS)

For much of Borderlands’ runtime, Commandant Steele is positioned as a formidable foe, and her efforts to get into the Vault are what you spend the bulk of the game fighting against. When the time finally comes to square off against her… you don’t. Instead, the hulking monstrosity known as the Destroyer comes along and unceremoniously kills Steele and her militia. The final fight against the Destroyer is still a decent one, sure, but not getting the chance to fight against Steele still stings a bit.
