THE ORDER: 1886
The Order: 1886 might have turned out to be a disappointment in the grand scheme of things, but it’s a game that holds a special place in the hearts of many. Its strength as a cinematic experience was one of the things that endeared it to quite a lot of people, and keeping those strengths in mind, the way it ended was almost perfect. Galahad’s final fight against the monstrous form of Alastair D’Argyll is an excellent and memorable encounter that utilizes the game’s cinematic strengths perfectly, and another one of few examples of how to implement quick time events in a boss fight properly.
