XIII (2020)
The original XIII isn’t exactly an all-time great, but it most certainly is a cult classic, and if you’ve played it, it’s not hard to understand why it has such a devoted fanbase. The 2020 remake, sadly, felt like a slap in the face to that entire fanbase. From its cheap approximation of the original’s distinct style and aesthetic to the terrible gunplay, from the braindead AI to the flood of technical glitches, 2020’s XIII was an absolute mess of a game that should never have been made.
