Remaking an old classic is always a tough job in this industry, since rapid technological advancements mean that two products separated by a gap of twenty years are going to look worlds apart. Final Fantasy 7 Remake, though, is definitely doing justice to the original. Everything from Midgar to the enemies to the characters themselves is being modernized faithfully, while from a technical standpoint, the game’s looking excellent as well, the way Final Fantasy always does.
