Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly
Developed by Tecmo and released way back in 2003, Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly instantly solidified its place as one of the scariest games on the market – thanks to its ominous atmosphere and captivating storyline. For the record though, the game did receive a remake in 2012 for the Nintendo Wii – but it was subject to plenty of criticisms for its wonky mechanics, so best not to bring it up.
