Extra Steps
A fun, open, and easy way to meld more puzzle-like problems into The Last Guardian would be to make the levels more environmentally interactive. The playable demo showed this in some forms but to go as far as to make it a common trend would be amazing. Need to get to the top of that hill? Climb a tree that is formed like an obstacle course: follow branches, avoid bee hives, etc. to get to the top. A key is locked in an iceberg? Figure out how to get a fire from one end of the room to the other before it burns out. Obstacles that allow the level to interact with the player could be a real game changer in this instance.
