A game very much in the same vein as Portal; it’s first-person puzzling switches the portal gun for a magical glove capable of shifting blocks to create new structures, platforms, and ramps to progress. The first game was great, but it’s Q.U.B.E. 2’s expanded systems which edges it over its predecessor. Progression brings more and more gameplay systems – magnets, fans, flammable objects, oil slicked surfaces – all pile on top of the original’s block moving mechanics providing players with opportunity for gleeful experimentation as they slowly expand their creative mind.
