Obtaining the Mew Pokémon
Mew, the 151 Pokémon. Well, that was back when Pokémon only went to 151. Now they’re at over 700! Collecting every single last Pokémon was an obsession for a lot of kids back during the early Pokémon days. And getting Mew was no exception. The only true way to collect Mew back then was to head to a very rare Nintendo event that took place in very few cities around the world. But a trick to unlocking Mew by locating a truck outside of a ship, then flying and surfing to a small island, then a few more things… ugh! It was all very convoluted, confusing, and of course it didn’t work.
