Why couldn’t this one be true? I mean, why have a Mario game without his cool, green brother? This rumor spread when a stone with illegible font within the game had some people reading it as: “L IS REAL 2041.” This sent gamers into a frenzy trying to figure out what exactly the secret was to bring the brother out of hiding! Unfortunately this wasn’t Super Mario Bros. 64. Just Super Mario. Photoshop images started pouring in, as others began to feed on the hungry Luigi fan base. But the sad truth of the matter was it just wasn’t.
