Bigfoot in GTA: San Andreas
Besides the gang initiations, and driving around beating down the city to make it your own, there was one more thing secretly roaming around the pseudo-California landscape in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas: Bigfoot. Of course this isn’t true, but people worked long and hard thinking it was. It all started when gamers saw a pixilated picture of Bigfoot hanging inside CJ’s house. It was a sign that Bigfoot existed (not really!)! The best part is that Rockstar, the developers of the GTA series, had fun with this myth and added a sasquatch to Red Dead Redemption – Undead Nightmare, the zombie-themed expansion. Upon killing the sasquatch an achievement popped up that read: “Six Years In The Making,” which it was exactly six years since the release of San Andreas.
