1. Halo CE – Assault on Control Room

Halo was a game that had redefined the shooting genre because it was memorable on a hell lot of levels. And by levels, I also mean the actual levels. ‘Assault on Control Room’ was the longest mission in the game and it was full of skirmishes set in the ice.

The reason that this mission was so epic was because it was one level that you access almost all of the weapons and the vehicular arsenal of the game and here you also got to find the Scorpion tank. The greatest fun you can have in a game is when you’re gliding across the snow covered field, running over Grunts and Elites as the gunner in your vehicle cries out in joy.

The level is also commended for its openness and connectivity to various areas. All said and done, you can expect no less from a level which has “I would have been your daddy…” written on your screen at the start.
