Bastion’s presentation is outstanding, and its opening showcases this in a subtle, yet effective manner. The boy wakes up from a deep slumber and set off, the ground forming under his feet. He doesn’t say a word, but an all-knowing narrator describes his every move. The unique, vibrant art style shows the apocalypse in a never before seen way, and paints a very intriguing picture, making you want to keep pushing on to unravel the mystery.
