Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
The Metal Gear series has never made much sense, but the opening moments of the Phantom Pain may take the cake. After waking up from a coma, Big Boss is nearly assassinated by an unknown woman. A man wrapped in gauze lights her on fire and sends her tumbling out the window. The two then crawl through the hospital, trying to avoid the troops that are tearing the facility apart. They are eventually greeted by a hulking man covered in fire, and a strange child who hovers through the air, wearing a straight jacket and a gas mask, who repeatedly try and kill the duo. This all culminates with a dramatic battle with the mysterious forces and a massive, blazing whale swallowing a helicopter. Snake then joins Ocelot and the two ride away on horseback, shooting the burning man as he charges after them on his flaming mount.
