Tis But A Dream – Super Mario Bros. 2
No, seriously. Super Mario Bros. 2 starts out weirdly enough with Mario having a dream about taking a staircase to another world called Subcon (get it? Subconscious?). He eventually meets Luigi, Peach and Toad who had the same dream and they eventually find a way to Subcon. By the time the gang take down the evil frog Wart, all the events are revealed to have transpired in Mario’s sleep. Or did they?
