BOMB ARROWS – THE LEGEND OF ZELDA

Bomb arrows have become a very well known item in The Legend of Zelda series over the years. They’re essentially arrows combined with bombs (as the name suggests) that are shot like regular arrows, but explode upon impact, dealing massive damage to their target. They were, however, birthed as a result of a glitch in the original Legend of Zelda, in which laying a bomb on the ground and shooting an arrow into the tile next to it made the two stick together and cause massive damage to enemies in the vicinity. Nintendo would go on to properly use these in Link’s Awakening.
