MERCENARIES 2: WORLD IN FLAMES

Pandemic Studios made more than its fair share of excellent games in its time, and though Mercenaries 2: World in Flames doesn’t exactly stand toe-to-toe with them, it’s still a solid game that more people should have experienced. The game’s highlight, of course, were its destructible environments. Mercenaries 2 lets you lose in an open world and encourages all the chaotic open world action in the world. It’s definitely rough around the edges, but when it works, it’s a hell of a lot of fun.
