STEAMWORLD DIG 2

Steamworld Dig 2 is what every sequel needs to be- it takes the excellent concepts that were established by its predecessor, and it improves upon them hugely. The original’s thoroughly addictive mix of exploration and digging comes back, and combined with Steamworld Dig 2’s excellent world design, it’s semi-open world nature, and it’s fantastic take on the Metroidvania formula makes it all the more compelling. Completing it doesn’t take more than 10-20 hours, but this is still a game that you can easily spend a lot more time on.
