Max Payne – Graphic Novel Rabbit Hole

Max Payne used to be a very self-aware game, before the third one anyway. The original game used graphic novel style cutscenes to tell its story. At one point, Max gets a letter from someone that tells him he’s in a graphic novel. The follow panel shows other panels from previous cutscenes, before Max says it’s the most horrible thing he could think of.
