Monkey Island 2:LeChuck’s Revenge – Calling the developer
Not every game breaks the fourth wall to terrify you, some use it for comedic effect. Monkey Island has always been a great example of this.
The best moment has to come in the second game, LeChuck’s revenge. At one point, you’ll run into a phone attached to a tree. If you use the phone, you’ll be connected to the “LucasFilm Games Hotline,” in game, and Guybrush will ask for a hint on how to solve a puzzle. If you do so, the Lucas rep will berate you, calling you a knucklehead for not being able to solve a simple puzzle. You can also ask about the status of upcoming games.
