But seriously though, even the ending by itself is a pretty big downer, as Alyx clutches the dead body of her father and is sobbing away. What happens next with the Combine, or the advisers, or a million other things that we’ve been asking about obsessively for years? We’ll find out when Half-Life 3 launches like fifty years from now.
