Far Cry games never fail to deliver excellent open world adventures full of systemic depth, even when they stumble in other areas, and the series’ brand of open world mayhem is very hard to say no to. With Far Cry 6, Ubisoft are promising not just something that’s similar, but better, with a larger and more diverse world set against the backdrop of what looks like a setting that’s brimming with storytelling potential. If they can make good on those promises, they may have a real gem on their hands.
