CUBONE (POKEMON)
There’s over 800 Pokemon right now, so it goes without saying that not all of them had as much thought put into them during their creation as others did. That said, some of the many, many Pokemon that exist have some truly bizarre backstories. One such Pokemon, of course, is Cubone. You see those skulls they’re wearing as helmets? Yeah, that’s actually the skull of Cubone’s dead mother. Add to that the fact that certain Pokedex entries describe Cubone as a “lonely Pokemon” and this becomes even sadder.
