One of several major first party exclusives to launch alongside the PS5, Sackboy: A Big Adventure was well-positioned to give everyone an early look at what the DualSense was capable of. And sure, it was a cross-gen game, but it didn’t let that fact hold it back from using the controller smartly. Though Sackboy’s DualSense implementation is not even close to being as effective or crucial to the experience as something like Ratchet or Returnal, it’s still a good, solid advert of the controller and its capabilities.
