6. Cinematic Horror
Using the Shadow Fall engine isn’t enough to make a game good, there has to be presence of appropriate elements in the game. Until Dawn – as almost every other horror game – relies heavily on its ambience to instill a feeling of fear, anxiety and trepidation in the players.
The first look at the game reveals that the developers have succeeded in their endeavour to craft an environment suitable enough to put anyone on edge while giving it the feel as if it’s a movie.
