Critical Attacks
Critical attacks in games like Destiny and The Division are fairly well understood. Aim for the head, cause more damage. In some RPGs though, critical attacks are always a “chance”. Your character isn’t always going for a critical strike but when they get it, it’s a matter of luck. Though these systems increase the chance of critical strikes as your characters become more powerful, we do find ourselves wondering which low-level character doesn’t know that aiming for the head – or other weak points – is the best way to win a fight.
